Journalism,ย the activity or profession of writing for newspapers, magazines, or news websites or preparing news to be broadcast. This four syllable word means aย lot to me in numerous ways. It created new friends for me, challenged me on topics to choose from, provide excellent skills for me in the future, and best of all, opened my head to what revolves around our lovely home, Earth. So why would such a nice elective have to be taken down? To simply put it, journalism has been judged by its name too hard which payed a toll on it. Students wouldn’t bare to try this elective thinking “oh it might be a waste of time.” or, “i wouldn’t want to right so much.” or even, “what kind of skills would it even grant me if i take this elective?” Life is way too short, you’d honestly cut ties with something so fun and exciting since of a tittle? It sucks to know that this class was incredibly convivial but then has to be turned down since of kids not knowing how fun it would be to take the class. Unfortunately, this is the last class of journalism until further notice. This is my sign-off article, not only from journalism, but from middle school. John Muir has been an experience i’ll never forget, and all of that credit goes to my friends, family, and teachers. I have changed for the better in middle school since of these people. If i never knew these kind caring people, i would have taken another path rather then the one i’m trailing in. It may be a path of my friends, or even parents, but i know that it’ll take me to success and greater happiness. I’ll be supplying you with my favorite articles that i have written during my time as a journalist. It picked these especially out of the 12 articles i have bashed out of my head, which is not including this one, is because i felt a certain connection between these articles, as if i tried harder than my other articles.
